Open: 10 am – 6 pm everyday

Private view: 8th of July, 6 pm to 11 pm

– suddenly in the middle of the story of art, the climax of which lays in the unknown future. The introduction and the triggering event are nowhere to be seen. Now there comes a series of rising actions, which the character must confront.

The character is neither the viewer nor the artwork but Meaning itself, striving for emancipation from an invisible force. When the viewer encounters an artwork, Meaning is invoked.

In Medias Res is the setting for this narrative that is unfixed in time, unfolding around the viewer. The story covers a broad range of practices, exploring residue, margins, and duality. Representation is experimented with, sometimes through narrative which is lost only to be found later.
